• Mentees: Invest in Yourself.

The best investment you can make is in your own growth. The NWIIWA Mentorship Program is your opportunity to focus on you — your goals, your confidence, and your next step forward.

You’ll be paired with a mentor who’s been where you want to go, offering guidance, perspective, and encouragement. With just a few focused months, you’ll gain the clarity and support you need to move your career forward with purpose

  • Mentors: Be an Influence.

As a mentor, you’ll help another woman navigate her next chapter with confidence. Your insight, encouragement, and experience have power — share it to help her see what’s possible.

You’ll strengthen your own leadership while helping someone else rise, building lasting connections and expanding your influence within the NWIIWA community.

  • Everyone: Grow Loud.

Growth doesn’t happen alone. The NWIIWA Mentorship Program creates a network built on trust, encouragement, and shared experience — connecting women from every industry and background.

Together, we’re stronger, smarter, and ready for what’s next.

Mentorship Program-FAQs

  • This 6-month mentoring match is designed to help you focus on a particular goal or challenge you’re facing.

    • Challenging work environment?

    • Preparing for a promotion?

    • Want to strengthen your public speaking skills

This program matches you with a member uniquely suited to support you. When this cohort ends, you can always join again with a new challenge.

Our goal is to elevate your career — and quickly.

  • Candidate mentees should have a specific goal or issue to work on, clearly stated in their submission.

Then we can use our powerful network of smart professionals to find someone who can make a difference for you!

  • The mentee schedules meetings, shares their goal in advance, and provides relevant background information before each meeting to their mentor.

  • The duration is 5 months, and each pair is asked to meet at least once or twice per month for about 45 minutes-Virtually or In-Person.

The goal is to keep the focus tight and the time burden small — and you’ll be amazed at what can happen in five months.

(And yes — many of our mentors and mentees enjoy staying in touch even after the cohort ends!)

  • Because matches are personalized, each cohort has different needs.

If you’d like to be a mentor, please apply at the link above and share the area where you feel you have a professional “superpower.”

  • The Mentorship Committee reviews all applications and works with NWIIWA leaders to identify strong mentor candidates for each mentee’s goals.

  • The mentee is responsible for setting the agenda and initiating communications.

That includes contacting their mentor as soon as possible to schedule the first meeting.

Each pair can decide what communication method works best — Zoom, phone, email, or in-person.

We expect confidentiality between each pair so mentees can feel comfortable sharing details that help mentors provide meaningful guidance. Ideally, each mentor–mentee pair will meet about once per month, but schedules and preferences may vary.

We recommend setting a consistent “standing date” to keep momentum and accountability.

  • Sometimes a match simply isn’t the right fit — and that’s okay!

Because the program is short and goal-focused, adjustments can be made quickly. If a pair feels early on that it’s not a good match, we’ll re-evaluate and reset the pairing.

  • Yes! Once accepted into the program, you’ll receive details about the kickoff event directly.

The program typically accommodates 10–20 mentor–mentee pairs each cohort.
